In Zafra (Extremadura) we have our own Iberian pig livestock feeded with the acorns from the holm oaks and cork oaks of our meadows. These pigs live in perfect harmony free and integrated in nature, feeding daily on 9 kg of acorns to achieve a weight of 180 kilos in 3 months. After being sacrified, every pork a undergoes a very slow curing process in the Azálvaro sierra, to obtain excellent Iberian products.
The pigs that at the moment do not weight 180 kg with the acorns from the holm oaks and cork oaks of our meadows, are feed on an additional diet, only based on natural grain. The natural curing process in our cellars allows us to achieve the specific quality and taste of a remarkable Iberian products.
